About Us

After graduating with my Master of Accounting and Financial Management degree, I founded Action Tax and Accounting in 2012.  My main focus when starting was on personal tax return preparation and accounting for small businesses.  I am also the Controller for the Heneveld Industrial Group for more than 6 years, and am responsible for, and have helped develop, all their primary accounting functions.

In 2020 obtained my CPA license in order to further develop my financial expertise and to build Action Tax and Accounting into more of a full-service accounting firm.

In July 2022, Action Tax and Accounting expanded to the Muskegon Area and merged with Quality Accounting and Tax Service to create Quality Accounting CPA.  In addition to moving into a more full time roll Action Tax and Accounting has added some employees to assist with the expanded service area.

In addition to my Tax and Accounting services, I am also a Master Financial Coach where I can use my background to help, motivate, encourage, challenge and inspire people to build a plan to move toward their financial goals.

In my spare time, I love to get outdoors and fish, focus on being a good husband to my wife Katy, and most importantly, help others and glorify God in everything I do.
